He talks to us about the two stories related to leprosy from today’s readings, and how in both stories, only the foreigner came back to say thank you. He emphasizes that we need to express our gratitude to God in our prayers. He also discusses that we are all in need of healing.

Fr. Chris Reuter gives the homily on Sunday, August 14th, 2016. He talks to us about the barriers that we erect around us, but how there is something that just doesn’t love a wall. Conflicts will always be part of life, what we can control is what we do about them. We need to commit ourselves to peacemaking, reconciliation, and at the very least, not adding fuel to the fire.
