100 years ago, a dark day in our region and our nation’s history occurred, with angry white mobs attacking blacks in race riots in East St. Louis, Illinois.  Fr. Carl talks to us about the tragedy that day, and how still today, we need to work to be a more welcoming country, community, and church to all people.

As we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday, June 18, 2017, Fr. Carl talks to us about not just receiving communion, but following the Jesus’ teachings. The Eucharist is not a magic elixir, we need to be pure in our hearts, and striving to be Christ-like.
